Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
When you enter a name, address, city, or other search term into a search tool on this site, that input is handled by the third-party provider operating the tool. We do not keep a separate local database of those search terms.
Messages and Contact Submissions
If you contact us by email or another direct message method, we may retain that communication long enough to review it and respond. We do not publish those messages, and we do not share them outside our organization unless required by law.
Data We Gather Automatically
When a page loads, our systems may receive ordinary technical details about the visit:
- The IP address assigned to your device
- Which browser you are using and its version
- Your device type and operating system
- The pages you visited and how long you stayed on each
- The site that sent you here, if any
- Timestamps for each page view
Cookies and Analytics
We use cookies, which are small files stored on your device, to understand traffic patterns such as which Garland County pages are used most often and where visitors leave the site. Analytics services help us review that information in aggregate. You can block cookies in your browser settings, although some site features may work differently after you do.
What We Do With This Data
- Operating the site and keeping pages available
- Routing search requests to the appropriate partner service
- Understanding which Garland County record guides visitors use
- Diagnosing technical problems and performance issues
- Displaying advertising that may be relevant to visitors
No Criminal-Record Data on File
This site does not maintain, compile, or sell databases of personal criminal-record information. We publish guidance about where Garland County criminal records may be held and how to request them from the Circuit Clerk, District Court, Sheriff's Department, Detention Center, Hot Springs Police Records, Arkansas State Police / ACIC, ARCH, CourtConnect, and the Arkansas Sex Offender Registry / Arkansas Sex Offender Notification System. We are not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and nothing we collect about visitors is assembled into consumer reports or background-screening files about third parties.
Third-Party Search Partners
Search boxes on this site are powered by outside companies. Information submitted through those tools is processed under the partner's own privacy policy, not this one. Those partners control their own retention, pricing, and sharing practices.
Links to Other Websites
Throughout the site we link to Garland County offices, Hot Springs city pages, Search ARCourts / CourtConnect, ARCH, ACIC, Arkansas Department of Corrections resources, registry pages, and other outside tools. When you leave this site, the destination site's privacy policy governs your visit.
Certain advertising partners may track your activity across sites to show targeted ads. That tracking runs on their systems, not ours.
Who Might See Your Data
We do not sell personal data. Some information may end up with:
- Search partners that process queries submitted through tools on this site
- Analytics services used to measure traffic and performance
- Advertising networks that serve ads on our pages
- Law enforcement, courts, or government bodies if a valid legal order requires disclosure
How We Protect Your Data
We use standard security practices for the data we collect. No internet-connected service can be guaranteed completely secure, so we cannot promise that unauthorized access will never occur.
Users Under 18
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that a minor submitted personal information to us, we will delete it where reasonably possible.
Your Data Rights
Depending on where you live and which laws apply, privacy or consumer-protection rules may give you additional rights over data we hold. At a minimum, you can:
- Ask for a copy of what we have on file about you
- Have us fix information that is wrong
- Request that we erase your data
- Opt out of certain kinds of data processing
Updates to This Policy
We may revise this privacy policy from time to time. When that happens, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
Effective date: July 16, 2026
